The “continuous facade” is a particular type of continuous lightweight facade that in turn, in conjunction with building work, assures all the normal functions of an external wall, which carries no more load than its own weight and the thrust of the wind. A tamponing wall is designed to withstand air and water infiltration, wind forces, seismic forces, in addition to its own weight.
